The "PCTA" Program Development Cycle

In our final lesson we'll learn a simple and powerful framework for writing computer programs.

The 10 minute video explains each part of the PCTA cycle:

• Plan - Know your objectives. Plan your program. Outline using VBA comments
• Code - Reuse existing code. Search online for VBA code snippets. Understand maker time vs manager time.
• Test - What can you check? Does it break? Is the code readable?
• Act - Follow up on test... Can you improve? New ideas?
